Why am I not receiving the OTP/2FA Code?
Updated
If you're not receiving the OTP required for login, password reset, or account verification, try the following troubleshooting steps:
For SMS OTPs
- Ensure your registered mobile number is active and has network coverage.
- Check if your device is able to receive SMS messages.
- Wait for a few minutes, as OTP delivery may be delayed during periods of high network traffic.
- Avoid requesting multiple OTPs in quick succession, as this may invalidate previous OTPs.
- Restart your device and try requesting the OTP again.
For Email OTPs
- Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder.
- Ensure you've entered your registered email address correctly.
- Wait a few minutes and request a new OTP if you haven't received it.
- Add CoinDCX emails to your safe sender list to help prevent future emails from being filtered.
For 2FA Verification Codes
- Ensure you're entering the latest 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app.
- Check that the date and time on your device are set to IST, as incorrect device time can cause 2FA codes to fail.
- If you've changed or lost your mobile device and no longer have access to your authenticator app, you'll need to reset your 2FA to regain access to your account.
Still need help?
If you've tried the above steps and are still unable to receive the OTP or complete 2FA verification, reach out to our support team through chat for assistance. Our support team will be happy to help!
Note: For security reasons, OTPs are sent only to your registered email address and registered mobile number, while 2FA codes are generated through your configured authenticator app. Ensure you have access to your registered contact details and authenticator app before attempting to log in or complete account verification.
