Why did my KYC verification fail?

Your KYC may be rejected if the information or documents submitted during verification do not meet the required criteria.
Common reasons include:
- Details don't match: The details entered do not match your official documents, or your PAN, Bank Account, and identity document (Aadhaar or Passport) have different names/details.
- Incorrect documents: The wrong document was uploaded.
- Invalid PAN / Multiple accounts: Your PAN is already linked to another CoinDCX account. A user can have only one CoinDCX account.
- Document quality issues: The uploaded document is blurry, unclear, has glare, or important details are not visible.
- Photocopy/screenshot / photoscreen: Photocopies, scans, screenshots/photos of documents, or photoscreen documents are not accepted. Only original documents should be uploaded.
- Masked documents: The submitted document has been masked. Please upload an unmasked document.
- Tampered or handwritten documents: Tampered or handwritten documents are not accepted. Please upload the original document.
- Minor documents: Documents belonging to a person under 18 years of age are not accepted.
- Selfie requirements not met: The selfie may not meet the required criteria, such as poor lighting, glasses/spectacles, filters/editing, cropping, or not being taken by the same person as PAN, Aadhaar, or Passport.
- Repeated use of documents: The same set of documents may have been used for KYC multiple times.
How can I avoid KYC rejection?
Before resubmitting, make sure:
- Your details match your official documents exactly.
- Your PAN, Bank Account, and identity document (Aadhaar or Passport) have matching names/details.
- You upload original documents only—not photocopies, scans, screenshots, or photoscreens.
- Documents are clear, high-quality, and free from blur or glare.
- All sides and characters of the document are visible.
- Documents are unmasked and not tampered with or handwritten.
- The document size is under 4 MB and is in .jpeg, .jpg, or .png format.
- Your selfie is clear, well-lit, unedited, uncropped, without glasses/spectacles, and taken within 24 hours of uploading the document.
- You use documents belonging to you and not a minor.
- You do not already have another CoinDCX account linked to your PAN.
