What is Token Redenomination or Rebranding?

Token Redenomination is the process of changing a token's unit value by increasing or decreasing the number of tokens in circulation based on a predefined conversion ratio, without changing the overall value of your holdings. Token Rebranding refers to a change in a token's name, ticker, and/or logo by the project team. In some cases, a rebranding may also include a redenomination. For example, if a token undergoes a 1:10 redenomination, every 1 old token will be converted into 10 new tokens. While the number of tokens you hold changes, the total value of your investment remains the same.
