What happens if I partially close my position?

Partially closing your position does not reset the Total Funding Fee calculation. The calculation continues from the time you originally opened the position until it is completely closed.
Example:
You open a BTC/USDT Futures position with a quantity of 1.2 BTC.
So far, you have received a cumulative Funding Fee of +₹150.
You then partially close 0.5 BTC, leaving 0.7 BTC still active.
During the next Funding interval, you pay ₹30.
Your updated Total Funding Fee will be: ₹150 - ₹30 = +₹120
The Active Position Details will display: Total Funding Fee: +₹120
