Yes, CoinDCX Web 3 allows you to buy a token on one chain in exchange for a token on another chain. However, we recommend you to buy a token on one chain in exchange for the native token of that chain to avoid paying more fees. Few example of native tokens are:
Polygon chain: MATIC
BSC chain: BNB
Solana chain: SOL
Base chain: ETH
Arbitrum chain: ETH
Optimism: OP
If you do not have native tokens, we recommend you to buy a token in exchange for stable tokens like USDT and USDC to avoid paying more fees.
