Is there any tax or TDS on INR Margin Futures?

There is no TDS applicable while trading in INR-M Futures as all transactions happen in INR and there is no involvement of VDA. Given there is no involvement of VDA, a flat 30% tax on profits doesn’t apply here. Instead, profits are taxed on the income slab.

What is INR Margin Futures?

INR Margin Futures (INR-M) lets you trade using INR instead of USDT. You don’t need to convert INR to USDT anymore, and when you close your trade, you’ll get back INR. While trading, the prices and data (like charts and order books) will still be shown in USDT.
