Market Order Market order is an order to buy or sell immediately at the best available price. It is entered with order size only, not price. The market order will be placed as limit order on the book with 10% price collar. That means the market order (whole or partial) will be executed if the real-time quote is within the 10% deviation from the market price when the order is placed. The unfilled portion of market order will be canceled.

Stop Order - A stop order, also referred to as a stop-loss order, is an order to buy or sell a crypto once the price of the crypto reaches a specified price, known as the stop price.  When the stop price is reached, a stop order becomes a market order.

Limit Order - A limit order is an order to buy or sell a crypto at a specific price or better.  A buy limit order can only be executed at the limit price or lower, and a sell limit order can only be executed at the limit price or higher.  A limit order is not guaranteed to execute.

Stop Limit Order - Stop-limit orders are entered with both stop price and limit price.

  1. Stop Price: A limit order will be placed when the stop price level is reached.

  2. Limit Price: The limit order will only be executed at the limit price or better.

A stop-limit order to buy can be placed during the market upswing.

For a stop-limit order to buy: stop price ≥ current market price

A stop-limit order to sell can be placed during the market downswing.

For a stop-limit order to sell: stop price ≤ current market price
